En la actualidad uno de los artistas españoles más reconocidos. Su trabajo multidisciplinar acaba de recibir el Premio AECA al mejor artista español vivo representado en ARCO18 – que ya obtuvo en 2008-, y el Premio ARCO-BEEP, Colección de Arte Electrónico. También en 2008, la beca The Delfina Foundation (Londres).
Su trabajo indaga, bajo una actitud crítica, sobre los procesos artísticos, el artista como gestor de ideas, el papel político de los creadores, el significado de la obra de arte, las estrategias que permiten ponerla en pie, sus mecanismos de producción, promoción y consumo, la eficacia de los espacios asignados al arte, así como sobre el análisis y experiencia de quien las contempla e interpreta.
Sus obras se han expuesto internacionalmente en lugares como ZKM, Karlsruhe, Alemania; Jordan National Gallery of Fine Arts, Ammán, Jordania; Museo Carrillo Gil, México; Boston Center for the Arts, Boston (MA), Estados Unidos; Ayala Museum, Manila, Filipinas; la Whitechapel de Londres; La Real Academia de España en Roma; en Bienales como la de Singapur, la Havana, la Bienal del Fin del Mundo. Y forma parte de colecciones como la de MNCARS, MUSAC, ARTIUM, IVAM, La Caixa, entre otras.
Actualmente presenta la exposición individual “La razón es una planta”, en galería Max Estrella de Madrid, en la que se muestran los resultados del Concierto para el Bioceno, llevado a cabo el pasado 22 de junio en el Teatro del Liceu de Barcelona.

Currently one of the most well-known Spanish artists. His multidisciplinary work has recently received the AECA Award for the best living Spanish artist represented at ARCO18, which he was already awarded in 2008, and the ARCO-BEEP Award, Electronic Art Collection. In the same year, he was awarded The Delfina Foundation scholarship (London).
His work investigates, from a critical perspective, artistic processes, the artist as manager of ideas, the political role of creators, the meaning of each piece of art, the strategies that allow it to stand, its production mechanisms, promotion and consumption, the effectiveness of art spaces, as well as the analysis and experience of those who view and interpret them.
His works have been exhibited internationally in places like ZKM, Karlsruhe, Germany; Jordan National Gallery of Fine Arts, Amman, Jordan; Carrillo Gil Museum, Mexico; Boston Center for the Arts, Boston (MA), United States; Ayala Museum, Manila, Philippines; the Whitechapel of London; The Royal Academy of Spain in Rome; in Biennials such as Singapore, Havana, the End of the World Biennial, as well as in collections such as MNCARS, MUSAC, ARTIUM, IVAM, La Caixa, among others.
He is currently presenting the individual exhibition “La razón es una planta», at the Max Estrella Gallery in Madrid, which shows the results of the Concert for the Biocene, held on June 22nd at the Liceu Theater (Barcelona).
