Sara Padilla Grimalt (esp)
Sara Padilla Grimalt es una artista visual nacida en las Islas Baleares, España. Actualmente trabaja en el cine experimental y en la fotografía desde las prácticas artísticas.
Realizó un Máster en Arte Contemporáneo Tecnológico y Performativo (UPV/EHU, Leioa) y un Grado en Bellas Artes (UCLM, Cuenca).
Investiga el propio proceso creativo, su recepción y transmisión. Así como la defensa de unos tiempos lentos y de una atención consciente. Utiliza el medio analógico para repensar cómo creamos y consumimos las imágenes en una sociedad cada vez más virtualizada. Con su trabajo genera experiencias en las que percibir, sentir y comprender vuelven a unirse. Para así proponer otra manera de estar en el mundo que deshaga la jerarquía que sitúa la razón por encima del cuerpo.

She investigates the creative process itself, its reception and transmission. As well as the defense of slow times and conscious attention. She uses the analog medium to rethink how we create and consume images in an increasingly virtualized society. With her work, She generates experiences in which perceiving, feeling and understanding come together again. In order to propose another way of being in the world that undoes the hierarchy that places.
