This video was shot in a single take of expired super 8 film.
It is a reflection on what society considers art and what it considers trash. These musicians are not considered musicians, as a flamenco musician would be, for example, but are considered a nuisance or little more than beggars. The reason for shooting it on out-of-date material is that the form reflects the content: these musicians play in the same market where I bought the film and the image seems from another era, just as their lifestyle may seem anachronistic to us.
