Susana y los viejos

Susana is Joaquin’s wife, a rich and influential jewish. Susana is desired by two aged judges, who agree to observe and abuse her while she is getting a bath. They are rejected and then accuse Susana of adultery. She is taken into court and there, the two aged men testify against her by arguing that they have seen her with a beautiful young man in her husband’s garden. The story of Susana, her unfair trial and its profuse pictorial representation serve as a guide for a highly performative mise-en-scene which challenges several systems of domination -not only the ones driven by the law, but also those of our own longings and desires- through a number of narrative fragments divided into five chapters.
