A new sequel to a movie we have seen many times. A beautiful, vulnerable – and above all virgin – girl runs away from the masked murderer. The girl survives, but the murderer reappears and the chase resumes in an infinite loop. How does one escape from this horror movie? Sometimes the only way is to break its structure. RUN FOR YOUR PIXELS opens a leak by cutting pixels like a knife through datamoshing. As the soundtrack accompanies us through nocturnal corridors and nooks, the threat reaches the spectators’ own screen, who is no longer able to observe from a distance and in the comfort of their seat.
