Daniel Alegrete was born in Madrid in 1993. After studying Media in Madrid and complementing his studies with a degree in Art History, he was a student at the Sarajevo Film Academy and at MasterLAV, an experimental film school, which allowed his work to move between experimental and fiction, with horror being his main thematic axis and through which it seeks to question its own context and intimacy. His work «New Dimensions of Dialogue» has been screened at Festivals such as Filmadrid or DOC Buenos Aires and his shortfilm «Bezlican» has gone through festivals such as Sarajevo Film Festival or Hrizantema Horror Festival. He is currently taking an artist residency at the Bilbaoarte Foundation.
