Laura Moreno Bueno is interested in the transfiguration of digital and analog media. She makes a video art installation that investigates the limits of the landscape. In 2018 he created the Biomas collective, a space to reflect on the relationship between the body and the camera. From the workshops carried out, her interest in using the body as a form of communication grows. This same year he created ‘1b0’, a collective project where she manages to bring together visual and sound artists, who create audiovisual pieces by coding and decoding their works. She also creates ‘La música del paseo’, a sound installation in which, thanks to movement sensors, viewers create sounds as they walk. In 2019 she studied creation at the Zine Eskola of Elías Querejeta, which allowed him to continue researching the representation of the body and delve into analogical processes. She makes an audiovisual diptych around crying, where she looks for a way to represent tears through movement and creates the installation ‘III’. In 2021 the project ‘The sound of images’ begins, where thanks to the collaboration of the Hangar-Casa Velázquez residence, Medialab (Tabakalera) makes photosensitive microphones that convert light into sound, the result is a video performance that could be carried out thanks to the BAICC residency in Toronto, where from previously treated 16mm film, images are translated into sounds.
