Chus García Fraile has become an internationally renowned artist. Known for her painting, where she has developed an impeccable style, she works in a multidisciplinary manner, comfortably fluctuating between photography, drawing, sculpture, video, and installation. She uses art as a language and does not differentiate between one technique or material and another, appealing only to its communicative potential. Through art, she recodes those details that, in her opinion, constitute and represent our reality, the so-called “welfare state.” Chus García Fraile constantly questions the everyday conditions of our society: excessive construction and the resulting real estate speculation, the cult of objects, the thin line between the private and public.
