This roundtable brings together three curators and cultural managers from diverse geographical contexts to discuss curatorial practices linked to contemporary audiovisual creation.

The meeting is focused on the nature of each project: their programming policies, exhibition strategies, and the institutional frameworks that facilitate—or limit—the circulation of video as an artistic medium.

Participants will share experiences on projects carried out in diverse contexts, from experimental festivals to digital platforms and independent spaces. The challenges of mediation, the intersections between film and contemporary art, and the need to foster more equitable international networks will also be discussed. The panel proposes rethinking the role of the curator not only as a selector, but as a critical mediator and creator of contexts for video as a living form of thought.
