This is a piece created from the only video I made with my mobile phone, during the 5 months of continuous hospitalisation of my mother who passed away in 2022 after a battle against ALS. The video shows a slow flow through the corridors of the hospital. I try to lengthen the time and expand the moment. Her favourite song plays in the background. These are the shots that remain after wondering what can be filmed in a place where people don’t want to be filmed and where fiction has no place in the face of the rotundity of the disease.
