living image_deleted

«living image_deleted» (LI_D) deals with the phenomenon of a mirror, walking between analog and digital appearances. The reflection of the mirror refers to the body but its image is flat (pixel, virtual reality). So the moving (square) mirror acts as an analog live scan/stream expanding the physical surrounding and is treated both as an interface for editing the material and threshold of the video content of LI_D. The starting point of LI_D was the walking (square) mirror on the ice filmed by a drone, which conceptually lead to the «melting content» (square mirror+ice) of a square block of ice, found on google earth, located in the Antarctic (-77.016136, 166.837383). This image of a block of ice or rather the nature of water in our world became the main actor/narrative of the video work LI_D. «The principle of all things is water; all comes from water, and to water all returns.» Thales of Miletus. LI_D is «programmed» close to the water running through all of its states of aggregation. In this sense, the phenomenon of water acts both as a source for meteorological climatic appearances and metaphor for human psyche 2.0: LI_D is freezing, nebulous and liquid.
