Instancias de lucha

The creation of a gesture, its birth and memory. To carry out this play, I invited workers from recovered factories in the Province of Buenos Aires and community theatre actors to rehearse a gesture of struggle. The choice of the sequence shot, fixed frame and slowed down time allows us to observe the deconstruction of each movement, its gestation, its development and its end. INSTANCIA DE LUCHA belongs to the series «Work scenes», on which I worked during 2019 and will continue to develop during 2020. It takes as a starting point the themes, concerns and visual representations of the group “Los Artistas del Pueblo” (active between 1915 and 1930) and proposes a contemporary rereading in video format.
