The Amnesiac

In a context of moral ambiguity, where there’s pressure to forget past events to pave the way for the future, Doherty’s concept of amnesia lies in the spontaneous moments when a casual word or a familiar scent transports us back to the past—to something unforgettable, an image that is impossible to erase.
