Silent Migration
Fun Facts of Movie
Set within the historic halls of the Monastery of San Antonio el Real in Segovia, this projection piece explores the central theme of Between Fog and Memory. Through translucent, wandering figures projected onto architecture shaped by power, time and the mists of history, the work transforms the wounds and traumas of Taiwan’s modern history into a silent, almost spectral memory that resonates beneath the monastery’s ancient stone walls and timber ceilings.
In the projection, the steady march of soldiers moves through dark corridors seemingly suspended in time. This is more than mere movement: each marching body carries the weight of histories that can still be told, alongside the countless unspoken sighs that time sought to erase.
