Vanessa Salamanca Vásquez is a visual artist born in Colombia, where she currently resides and works. She defines herself as a lover of design, nature and sharing.

«I am an image and sound designer, my areas of interest are art direction and directing / production assistance. I have had the opportunity to work on independent projects awarded in different festivals, video clips, feature films, animations and highly recognized awards.

I also have freelance experience in graphic design, making logos, infographics, brochures and any graphic piece for the promotion of a company or product. Thanks to my training, I also have experience in the audiovisual area, mainly in directing assistance, art direction and animation.

To highlight, in 2015, together with an excellent team, I made the short documentary: «If people don’t understand you, look for other people» in which I designed the soundtrack and some animations. The documentary has been very well received and so far it has received several nominations and awards at festivals around the world, bringing up to date four awards for the first place as best international documentary. On the other hand, do the production assistance for the MACONDO AWARDS 2019, awards that recognize Colombian cinema. «
