He holds a PhD with a thesis on play in the creative process and is an adjunct professor at the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU). Since 2003, he has participated in group and solo exhibitions, showing his work in cities such as Bilbao, Madrid, Bristol, Breda, Palermo, Tetouan, Porto, Beijing, and San Diego. He completed a residency in Beijing as part of the ¡Vámonos a China! programme.

He works mainly with video, photos and drawings, as well as sound and music. His works have disparate forms and methods, but they usually have a playful tone or something similar to humour. He also works in practices that are on the fringes of the art system, making T-shirts or video clips, for example. He likes to invent overly complicated processes to construct images.
