Video artist
She was born in Kamakura City, Kanagawa Prefecture in 1976. She graduated in art criticism from Ritsumeikan University College of Letters. Inspired by avant-garde cinema and video art, he began film production in 1997.
Through the consideration of the medium itself, which is the video, we seek the possibility of transforming the structure of the visualized real world. In the work, by separating the real world into images and sounds and reconstructing them, reality is thought and re-represented by the logic of the images. He creates unique channels, installations and performances using video.
From 2007 to 2008, he stayed in Australia to produce works and held a one-man show in Sydney. Based in Tokyo since 2009. In 2012, he exhibited at Shinjuku Golden Gai and screened at the Paris Pondou Center. In the past, his work has been screened at numerous video festivals in France, Germany, the United States, Hungary, Brazil, Indonesia, Malaysia, and South Korea.
