Rubén Martín de Lucas
Artist, Painting
Spain

Engineer of Roads, Canals and Ports from the Polytechnic University of Madrid, but he declined to practice this profession to dedicate himself entirely to painting.

The connections between painting, engineering and urban art have come together in a personal work whose fundamental axis is the landscape and its associated behavior, that is, the links and behavior models that we generate with respect to the territory. Martín de Lucas was a founding member of the Boa Mistura collective, a multidisciplinary group of artists with roots in urban art that has carried out projects in Brazil, Panama, Mexico, Norway, Algeria, Georgia and South Africa, as well as with the Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofía , La Casa Encendida and CAC Málaga. Among the mentions received by this artist, we must highlight: 1st Prize of the XVII Painting Contest, Ciudad de las Palmas de Gran Canaria.

Acquisition Prize IV Biennial of Painting and Sculpture, Diputación de Burgos. 1st Prize IX Barceló Foundation Contest in Palma de Mallorca.
