Living and working between Vigo and Gijón. Visual artist. Architecture degree from the University of A Coruña and MA in Contemporary Art from the University of Vigo. Currently working on his PhD at the School of Fine Arts in Pontevedra, researching the relationship that exist in contemporary art between landscape and place.
He has taken part in national and international solo and group exhibitions: Kunstpodium T (Tilburg), Het Wilde Weten projectspace (Rotterdam), Palacete dos Viscondes de Balsemão (Porto), Cerveira International Art Biennial (Vila Nova de
Cerveira), CGAC (Santiago de Compostela), MARCO (Vigo), Ciudad de la Cultura (Santiago de Compostela), Sala Arte Joven (Madrid), Art Mustang (Alicante), MAC Florencio de la Fuente (Cuenca), Centro Valey (Castrillón), Sala Borrón (Oviedo) or CCAI (Gijón).
He was awarded and granted in several art competitions, such as “Art Nalón” National Prize, second prize at the “XXX Young Art Show” in La Rioja, Artistic Residency Grant at LABoral or AlNorte Grant for exhibition projects.
His artwork can be found in publications, monographs and in various public collections: Florencio de la Fuente Foundation, Langreo Civic Art Gallery, Camilo José Cela Foundation and other private collections.
