«I was born in Lima. I live and work in Barcelona.

My work focuses on the role that memory plays as a conduit, through which we build our identity, desires and hierarchies. Starting from this, I use different languages such as: performance, video, installation and writing.

During the last years my research has focused on the relationship that memory establishes with the act of eating, the important role that it plays in our subjectivity and how appealing to the senses in action makes the other become part of the work, establishing an understanding from being attentive to the other as to oneself. As for my theoretical research, it focuses on the difference and correlation between myth and ritual and how we deal with this relationship in everyday life. »
