Perla is the director and co-founder of the Node Center for Curatorial Studies in Berlin. Her area of work focuses on the design of alternative strategies in education, both within and for contemporary art. In 2010, she co-founded Node Center, establishing it as a space for teaching, research, and experimentation on topics related to curating and contemporary art. Perla develops and defines the structure of Node Center, which includes the curatorial studies residency, the online study platform, and the most recent Innovators Grant.
