Olaia Sendón is an audiovisual artist born in Ourense, Spain, in 1978.

At the age of 18, went to Barcelona to study Audiovisual Communication at the Autonomous University and she stayed there until 2000.

Upon returning to Galicia he was working as a scriptwriter until in 2002 he began working at the Antonio Faílde Art School in Ourense. That same year he took doctoral courses and a documentary piece called Ramón Caamaño, which was shown in an exhibition organized by the CEF and sponsored by Caixanova.

In 2004 he won a place at the IES de Imagen y Sonido in A Coruña, where he continues to work today, carrying out several educational projects such as «Tiff 2006», which was recently recognized with a third prize for educational innovation.

In 2007 she won an award in the communication category within the “Curtas na Rede” contest and was recently selected within the Curtocircuíto 06 Festival.

He is currently working on a new documentary within the Costa Defunta project.
