Nicholas F. Callaway studied engraving at the Oviedo School of Art, has a degree in Linguistics (Reed College 2007), and a Master’s Degree in Artistic Research and Creation (Universidad Complutense 2017). Videos of him, which are often part of installations, have been screened in galleries and centers in both Europe and the United States. His individual exhibitions include Insider Out (Avilés 2011), The Beasts (Oviedo 2012), Shibboleth (Madrid 2017), If these walls spoke (Madrid 2018) or Under Over Behind Beneath (Madrid 2021, with Constanza Dessain). He has exhibited in collective shows in centers such as C Arte C (Madrid), Sala de Arte Joven (Madrid), LABoral (Gijón) or the Archaeological Museum of Asturias (Oviedo).
