Miguel Braceli’s work addresses social praxis and educational models through the performance, the installation, the video and photography. Most of his work has been developed through large-format ephemeral pieces on the public space via interventions and exhibitions in countries such as Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, the United States, Spain and Venezuela. Among his recognitions, we can mention the Premio de Arte Joven del Principado de Asturias (2017), Premio de Arte Público de Extremadura Supertrama (2017), Premio “Artista Internacional 2017” and “Artista Emergente 2014” de la Asociación Internacional de Críticos de Arte and the Premio del Salón Jóvenes con FIA/XVII Edición (2014), among others. Besides, he has commissioned several education, organization and participation projects along with institutions like the MoMA, the American Embassy, Matadero Madrid and the Museo de Bellas Artes de Caracas. Currently, he lives and works in the United States while attending a post-graduate course on Fine Arts at the Maryland Institute College of Arts thanks to a Fullbright grant.
