Since 2015, Marie Ouazzani & Nicolas Carrier live and work together. After studying Visual Arts and Cinema, they attended numerous residences in France and abroad (Portugal, Jordan, South Korea and China). Their climate fictions explore changing urban territories (peripheries, interstices, suburbs) and consider the impact of the current ecological crisis on their inhabitants. Their work has been notably presented at Ygrec-ENSAPC and Casa da Cerca in 2021, CAC Passerelle in 2020, Mains d’Oeuvres in 2019, Villa Arson and 3 bis f in 2017, and Darat al Funun in 2015. They participated in the 19th WRO Biennale, Manifesta 13, 2nd Lagos Biennial, Rencontres Internationales Paris / Berlin, 5th Odessa Biennale, 61st Salon de Montrouge and Festival OVNi. Their work has received the support of Institut français in 2021, CNAP and DICRéAM (CNC) in 2020 and Île-de-France region (FoRTE) in 2018.
