Javier Artero is an artist and professor at the UMA. He has exhibited at: CAAC in Seville, SUArt Galleries in Salisbury (USA), Collection of the Russian Museum in Malaga, SCAN Project Room (London), University of Sankt Gallen (Switzerland), Wirtschaftsuniversität Wien (Austria), Es Baluard Museum (Palma de Mallorca), Isabel Hurley Gallery (Málaga), ELBUTRÓN (Seville) or LOOP Barcelona.
He has received the DKV / ES BALUARD scholarships for the creation of a videographic work, ART 35 Banco Sabadell Foundation, Postgraduate Resident Artist Scholarship (UMA) or INICIARTE Program among others. He has also carried out research stays at UDK (Berlin) at the Center for Contemporary Creation of Andalusia (C3A) and at the Faculdade de Belas Artes in Lisbon.
His work can be found in the collections of DKV Seguros, CAAC of Seville, Genalguacil City Council or the Banco Sabadell Foundation, among others.
