Iván Puñal was born in 1975 in Madrid and currently works as an audiovisual director. In 2009, he began studying violin, and he now combines the instrument with modular synthesizers for experimental sound manipulation, always rooted in live improvisation. More recently, he has incorporated real-time generative video software to create audiovisual performances and installations.
