Inés García (b. Bilbao, 1983) works in film and contemporary art, making installations, videos,  and short and feature films.  

The current year, her work has been shown in a mayor SOLO SHOW at sala Rekalde with SLIDES  (Movement between silences) and its extension TAKE OVER (Bilbao, 2023). Furthermore she has participated in exhibitions such as El Verb Harmònic at La Panera (Lleida,  2022), BIAM22 at Centre d’Art Lo Pati (Amposta, 2022), Glissements d’échelle at Obrador (Bilbao,  2022), Expanded Studio Project at PS2 (Belfast, 2019), NEW SPAIN at Galería Solar (Vila do  Conde, 2018) and at a number of other venues in Barcelona, Madrid and Santander.  

Her videos and films have been screened at venues including the Palacio de Festivales in Santan der and the Film Library of Catalonia; and at festivals such as DOCUMENTA MADRID, ZINEBI, La  Inesperada, Punto de Vista, LOOP, KurzFilm Oberhausen and Les Rencontres Internationales Pa ris / Berlin, the Latin Video Art Festival in New York, the Tehran Film Festival , FIVA in Buenos Aires  and in other cities, including Lisbon, Athens, Montreal and Nottingham. Her work has also been  shown in contemporary art centres such as CA2M (Madrid), Tabakalera (Donostia-San Sebastián),  Sala Rekalde (Bilbao), MARCO (Vigo) and La Conservera (Murcia) and others.
