Born in 1984, Hala Abu Shady is an interdisciplinary artist. She works in video, drawing, animation, photography and installation. She holds a Ph.D in media and advertising arts from education art faculty Helwan University, Cairo, Egypt. She’s been teaching Design arts and new ads media at the Art and Design Academy, Cairo since 2006.
