Federico Sposato was born in Mar del Plata, Argentina, in 1984.

At the age of seventeen he emigrated to Spain to begin his artistic studies.

Between 2003 and 2008 he completed a Bachelor of Fine Arts at the Miguel Hernández University of Alicante. At this stage, his intervention works in the territory obtained awards such as «In Urbe 2006» and «Espai Trobat 2008», or his participation in «Legitim and bastards» at the Klein – Shreuder Foundation.

In 2009 he moved to the capital to do a Master in Contemporary Art at the European University of Madrid.

In 2010 he completed a Master in Fashion Photography and Advertising at the Complutense University of Madrid / CES.

In 2012 he won the Second Prize in the “XXXVI Efti Photography Contest”, thanks to which he completed the Master of Artistic Conceptual Photography at Efti, obtaining the “Futuro Al Betrayal” Prize.

Among the latest exhibitions in which he has participated are “Here and There” at Círculo de Bellas Artes in Madrid and “PhotoALC: Light territories”.
