(1933, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil). Lives and works in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Guest professor at the Higher Institute for Fine Arts (HISK), Belgium, in 2009. She teaches Art and Philosophy with Fernando Cocchiarale at the Escola de Artes Visuais – Parque Lage in Rio de Janeiro. Director of the Aprofundamento course in 2011, 2012, and 2013, and Secretary of Culture at Parque Lage, Rio de Janeiro.
Studies – 1950s: Linguistics, Anglo-Germanic Language and Literature – National Faculty of Philosophy. Art History and Sociology – NYU, New York, with Hannah Levy Deinhard. Art History – Metropolitan Museum, also with Hannah Levy Deinhard.
