Nicolás De Bórtoli was born in Goya, Corrientes (Argentina). He is a musician and holds a degree in Image and Sound Design from the University of Buenos Aires (UBA). He was the Director of Photography for the documentary Apuntes sobre identidad (Notes on Identity), which was featured at the 32nd Mar del Plata Film Festival, FIDBA, CineMigrante, and over 20 other festivals. In 2020, he directed the experimental short film Capilla del Diablo (Devil’s Chapel), which won the 2020 CILECT CIBA Prize and was selected for the 2021 National Salon of Visual Arts in Argentina, among more than 40 festivals.
