When everything is set in motion, the only way of survival comes from getting detached of everything, even of oneself. Departing from this premise, The Vertical Bodies mediates between experiences of estrangement and perceptions of otherness evoked by the sensation of perpetual motion. The film reflects on matters of displacement, itinerancy and deterritorialisation.
