This can be considered to be one of the best examples of postconceptual work in the seventies and eighties. The artist drops coloured confetti over a chair covered with a layer of shiny black paint.

Jack Goldstein was a magician who took the guise of many different entities: a cinematographic ghost, a piece of confetti, a drawing on translucent paper, a ray, a shadow, an experimental artist with no money, a promising talent, a wealthy painter, a provocateur and an artiste maudit.
