XenoVisual Studies (XVS) is a network for artistic experimentation and critical thinking that studies how emerging technologies redefine visual aesthetics, influencing our perception of reality, identity, and society. The collective, co-founded by Esther Rizo, Pilar del Puerto, and Mar Osés, defines itself as a permeable structure, open to collaboration with other creators, developers, and theorists. It is part of the Laboratory for Future Studies (University of Alcalá) and the InPAS research group at the Complutense University of Madrid.

Its projects have received support from the Ministry of Equality, Medialab Matadero, and the Complutense University of Madrid, among other institutions. Among their most recent projects are Algorithmic Alienation and Xeno-Tuning, developed within the framework of the Medialab Matadero 24-25 Situated Research Residency, and the exhibition Wait… How did we get here?, curated in collaboration with MOMus-Experimental Center for the Arts in Thessaloniki (February–June 2026). They have been invited as lecturers at the University of Buenos Aires, the University of Santiago de Compostela, TBA21, and the San Martín Cultural Center, among other institutions.
