Victoria Oliver Farner is an audiovisual artist, film editor and graphic designer. The spoken and written word in relation to the image is a central theme in her work, which is also based on a re-reading of structuralist practices. 

Educated at the Laboratory of Contemporary Creation and Practice, LAV, in 2019 she premiered ‘Eyes On You’ at Filmadrid. Her first 16 mm film, ‘Ultimate Form #003. Garden Portraits’, was screened at Círculo de Bellas Artes, Madrid. In 2022 her experimental and autobiographical piece ‘At One Point They Were The Same Person’ premiered at DocumentaMadrid, and has also been screened at festivals in Sweden, Argentina and Peru.

She has also created a series of video essays that analyze the conventional forms of cinema. Two of them, ‘Peripheral Attention’ and ‘Back To Theaters’ have been selected by Sight&Sound magazine as one of the best of 2019 and 2022, respectively.
