Statement
Our work begins with the processes of subjectivity, exploring how class condition affects the precarious, exhausted body—both cognitively and physically. We are interested in the bureaucratization of stress in relation to the paradoxes and contradictions of contemporary society. Our research touches on ideas such as false positivity, escapism, productivity, and resilience as applied to the world of work.
We work with performance, sculpture, installation, video, sound, and text.
