Rui Silveira, director, photographer and communication designer

His professional experience began when he was still in school, as a photographer for architecture studies and his natural environment. Later, he designed the layout of the books that resulted from there and other graphic design productions. His interest in video as a language led him to an artist residency and a nine-month internship in Nodar, in the eastern mountains of Portugal, where he directed a film inspired by the way people built and inhabited that place. . The films he made later explored variations on that approach, that is, the interaction between people, built space and natural space.

The main professional competencies that he has developed in this process are in the areas of documentary production, photography and graphic design.
