Román Gomes is a digital artist born in Argentina.

Gomes has been developing in the universe of Digital Arts both in video installations, video art or mapping, taking Animation as the main narrative tool. These narratives are presented to the viewer in large-scale formats, and through an Installation or multimedia Piece. At the beginning of it he adapts Literary classics of the fantastic Genre: from Cary Bates through H.P. Lovecraft or the universal Dante Alighieri. The visual way of telling these adaptations is through two or more projections on stage and simultaneously. His visual language: baroque and obsessive is a suggestion of his fascination with the fantastic and the supernatural. Since 2008 he has been exhibiting and participating in different Media Art Galleries, International Video Festivals and Contemporary Art Centers both in Argentina and in other parts of the world.
