Portrait of a Movement is the first exhibition in Spain dedicated to the internationally acclaimed artist duo Pauline Boudry and Renate Lorenz. Based in Berlin, they have been working together since 2007. Their work explores queer perspectives on aesthetics, history, culture, community, resistance, and forms of connection. Recent exhibitions include (No) Time at Frac Bretagne, Rennes, and the Mediacity Biennale at the Seoul Museum of Art (2021); Moving Backwards, Swiss Pavilion at the 58th Venice Biennale (2019); and Ongoing Experiments with Strangeness at the Julia Stoschek Collection, Berlin (2019).
