Paco Chanivet (Seville, 1984) has a degree in Fine Arts, with studies in social and cultural anthropology, as well as in directing and screenwriting. Lives and works in Barcelona. Some of his contributions in the national artistic level have been Tràfic (CCCB), El lugar de los hechos (Sala d’Art Jove), ClaResil 2012mg (La Capella), Audio-deriva for the Archivo J. R Plaza (La Virreina Centre de la Imatge), F de Ficción (Can Felipa Arts Visuals), Constelaciones familiares (Sala Muncunill EspaiDos), Ne travaillez jamais (ADN Platform, ADN Galería), Siga los rastros como si fuera miope (Arts Santa Mònica), Panorama 2018 (Galería Fran Reus), No es lo que aparece (Premi Miquel Casablancas, Fabra i Coats) y SSSSSSSilex (La Capella – BCN Producció).

In 2017 he was awarded the Artium-Getxoarte acquisition prize and the first prize at the XXXIII La Rioja Young Art Exhibition. Some of his works are in the collections of the Universitat de Barcelona, the Fundació Banc Sabadell and the ARTIUM Collection. Since 2016 he has been an artist- in-residence at the Hangar production centre and in mid 2018 in La Escocesa. He is the driving force and co-founder of FASE, a space for creation and emerging thought. He is currently working on his next solo exhibition at the Espai 13 of the Fundació Miró.
