«The engine of my work is the day to day. I have a firm commitment to the present moment and a critical position from which to address social and political issues from a very human dimension. I dive into the reality of the city I live in, to compose poetic transformations that convey dissident messages about the ideologies that surround us in this late capitalism that we have lived through. My work directly analyzes the context by which I am affected at a political and social level. I am interested in renegotiating or altering reality through appropriations, interferences or recontextualisations. That interest in rereading and alterations has led me to the use of close materials, everyday contexts and images of the media. Installation, intervention, action and photography are the media that I use, many times simultaneously within the same project.»
