She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts from the Complutense University of Madrid and a PhD in Fine Arts from the University of Granada.
She pursued postgraduate studies at the School of Visual Arts and Parsons School of Design in New York City. Currently, she is a tenured professor at the University of Granada, where she teaches Audiovisual Projects at the Faculty of Fine Arts.

She has held solo and group exhibitions in cities such as London, the Dominican Republic, Paris, Málaga, Granada, Murcia, Jaén, Turkey, Almería, Cádiz, and Madrid, and has participated in international video art festivals in Barcelona, Braga, Buenos Aires, New York, Venice, Edinburgh, and Cuba, among others.
