Loïc Gatteau is a French director, cameraman, editor and video artist.
Of Polish origin, he was already practicing that profession in France, in Nantes where he lived. Among other things, he made 2 short films, including one presented at the Premiers Plans international film festival in Angers and the Ille et Vilaine festival. He also worked for 12 years with the Maison de la Culture de Loire-Atlantique (Aujourd’hui le Grand T) organizing exhibitions and audiovisual production workshops for all audiences, schools and associations.
He has lived in Warsaw for more than ten years, where he founded his audiovisual production company, PolaFilms, producing more than 100 short films, most of them made for various local and international companies and institutions. In particular the French Institute of Poland, the French Embassy, ​​the Geremek Foundation, or companies such as Mazars, Peugeot, SII, Saur Polska, RDbud, Essilor etc …

In 2014, he directed and produced a documentary about the French in Poland, screened it several times in France and Poland during film debates, and won an award for its educational values ​​at the International FilmAT 2015 festival in Warsaw. .
Parallel to his work, he regularly conducts video production workshops at the French Lyceum in Warsaw to prepare students for bac.
A fan of contemporary art, preferably using video as a medium, he has been able to present his work in private exhibitions or international festivals, for example in Poland, France, Spain or even Romania.
