Juan Benitez Allassia (Santa Fe, Argentina, 1990) is an audiovisual researcher and teacher. He has a degree in Communication Sciences from the Catholic University of Santa Fe and a Master’s Degree in Documentary Film from the Universidad del Cine de Buenos Aires. In 2018 he made the short film «Something is about to disappear», through a subsidy from the Ministry of Culture and Innovation of Santa Fe, a project that became the feature film «Cinema has died», his debut as producer.
