Ignasi Aballí Sanmartí (born in Barcelona in 1958) is a contemporary artist closely aligned with conceptual practices, manifesting his work through formalizations, techniques, and diverse materials (such as Tipp-Ex, light, dust, and newspaper scraps). He pursued his Fine Arts education at the University of Barcelona, where he currently resides and creates. Aballí has also served as an educator at the Massana School from 1990 to 2007.

His works have been showcased in both national and international museums, including MACBA (Barcelona), Reina Sofía (Madrid), Fundació Serralves (Oporto), and the Ikon Gallery (Birmingham). Additionally, he has collaborated with various galleries and participated in numerous art fairs.
