Gustavo Valera (Mérida-Venezuela 1972/Spanish-Venezuelan), Ultra-lab (2011) co-founder and technical director. Engineer in the Universidad de los Andes, living in Spain for 21 years, he has been the technical director of several digital art centres in Spain (Medialab Prado, Intermediae, Laboral Centro de Arte, Matadero Madrid) and has participated in international projects (with Ars Electronica – AUT, RUS, Asia, etc.). He also carries out educational projects for the dissemination of creative technologies. He has produced Arduino and Processing documentaries. At present, he is the technical coordinator of the installation of works and experiments at the Science Gateway Museum at CERN in Geneva, Switzerland.
