Gabriela Rosselló Caics

Gabriela Rosselló Caics (1973), Montevideo, Uruguay.
Actress, performer, producer, cultural manager and graduate in Communication.

She began working in the performing arts in 2013, specialising mainly in acting for the camera.

Since its foundation in 2015, she has been a member of DIEZ DE CADA DIEZ, an artistic collective that raises awareness of gender-based violence through different performative actions in public space. Its projects include Diez de cada Diez (2015–2021), No matarás (2018), Protocolo de acción para estado de emergencia (2021) and Un sueño en el parque (2022–2024).

Since 2013, she has worked in production, press management and communications for performances, audiovisual projects and artistic-educational initiatives, collaborating with artists from different disciplines including visual arts, music, dance, theatre and film.

In 2014, together with Federico Arnaud, she founded MoÑA Montevideo Soñado, a platform for Uruguayan contemporary art focused on imaginaries of Montevideo. In 2024, they celebrated MoÑA, 10 años de vida para un sueño. Montevideo Soñado with a group exhibition featuring works that had completed an eight-year touring cycle in the Republic of China, representing Uruguay through the visual arts.
