Francisco Belarmino born in 1988, lives and works in Chile. Master in Research and Photographic Creation from the School of Art of the Finis Terrae University. Digital Video Post Producer, Macpc Academy Graduate and Bachelor of Visual Arts and Photography from Uniacc University.
From the first photographic works to the last displacements of the image in video-performance and installation, his emphasis is on questioning the individual-image relationship in order to understand the way in which identity is constructed in relation to the means of capturing and producing imaginaries.
He has exhibited in Chile and abroad in various cultural centers and museums.
He has participated through the Réplicas Project in the 2017 Biennial of Medial Arts, and carried out a residency through the same project in Amatrice, Italy.
He participated in a labor internship for the Mercosur Biennial 2011 in Porto Alegre Brazil and in 2013, she did her professional practice at Peforma, New Visual Arts, in New York City, in the United States. He was co-founder and active member of Colectivo Aduana until the end of 2014.
He is currently working as a Video Workshop Professor at the Uniacc School of Visual Arts.
