Florencia Levy was born in Buenos Aires in 1979, where she lives and works. She studied at Central Saint Martins College of Arts and Design, (London) and at the National Institute of Arts the Bachelor of Visual Arts in Buenos Aires. Her work includes a wide variety of media including video, painting, photography, installation, and collaborative projects. She has been awarded a grant by the Telefónica Foundation to participate in the «Intercampos III Program» and has won international scholarships for artistic residencies in the United States, Taiwan, the Netherlands, Cuba, South Korea and Japan.

His work has been part of national and international exhibitions and has received numerous awards and distinctions such as the «Latin American Video Art Festival Award», Borges Cultural Center 2012, «Honorable Mention International Award», Guasch Coranty Foundation 2012, «Honorable Mention in Petrobas Award «, Buenos Aires 2011,» Honorable Mention National Painting Salon of Banco Nación «, Argentina, 2010,» First Prize in the UADE National Painting Contest «, MOCCA, 2009,» First Prize for Young Artists at the 2008 Central Bank National Painting Salon, National Museum of Fine Arts of Buenos Aires.

In addition, her work has been exhibited in Russia, Japan, the United States, Korea, Germany, Colombia, Cuba, the Netherlands, Lithuania and France.
